The image is a print of one of my own ink drawings of a single sycamore key.

The drawing is printed on a rich ivory background.

The brooch is finished with a thick coat of glossy resin.

The resin used is very durable so this brooch is safe to wear on a coat. It will be unaffected by rain showers. It is very lightweight. 

The  pin is silver plated and has a safety catch. The draughts piece measures approx 3.cm in diameter.
